Tutoring Services.
Individual lessons are the most effective because each session can be tailored for the students’ specific needs. These one-on-one sessions are student oriented and work to inspire learning and understanding rather than rote memorization.
Group lessons are great for learning the material with friends, so everyone can grow together. These sessions are perfect for students who are in the same class, and need help covering similar material. Sometimes it’s best to learn with peers.
About me.
I fell in love with science and mathematics as a child, and I strive to instill that passion and enthusiasm for learning in the students I work with. I received my undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Oregon in 2012. It is there that I first began tutoring younger students in general and organic chemistry. I have continued tutoring in the years since graduating in both chemistry and mathematics courses. I currently teach middle school science and high school chemistry, including AP chemistry. This experience has led me to a very student centered approach which aims to help students hone their learning style and engage with the course in a more positive way.
What People Are Saying
“My kids both benefited tremendously from Ryan’s science and math tutoring. Ryan is so patient and focused, and his passion for the material engages them in a fun, yet productive, way. My daughter struggled through STEM for years, but as she is headed off to college, she has chosen a science program. I am convinced this is largely due to Ryan’s tutoring. I highly recommend him.”

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”

“When my daughter needed help getting through high school chemistry, Ryan as able to break it down in a clear, concise manner that made all the difference. The results were high grades and a new-found interest in a subject that was originally considered “boring.””
